Qatar will participate in the Paris 2024 Olympics with a delegation of 14 athletes across five sports, marking its 11th consecutive appearance at the Summer Games. The event is scheduled to take place from July 26 to August 11, 2024.
Athletes Representing Qatar
1- Mutaz Essa Barshim – High Jump
- A prominent athlete, Barshim is a three-time world champion and gold medalist from the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. He holds the second-highest jump in history at 2.43m.
2- Abdulrahman Samba – 400m Hurdles
- Samba is a notable hurdler with significant achievements in international competitions.
3- Bassem Hemeida – 400m Hurdles
- Another strong contender in the hurdles, contributing to Qatar’s athletics team.
4- Ismail Dawood – 400m Hurdles
- Dawood has shown promising performances in regional competitions as part of the hurdles team.
5- Ammar Ismail – 400m

9- Abdulaziz Al-Obaidli – Swimming (200m Breaststroke)

11- Rashid Saleh Al-Athba – Skeet Shooting

12- Saif Mohammed – Pole Vault
- A promising pole vaulter with a history of achieving high marks in regional competitions.
