The AFC Champions League Elite has set the stage for an exciting competition involving Qatar’s top clubs—Al Gharafa, Al Rayyan, and Al Sadd—who will face off against Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal and Al Nassr in Doha.

  • Al Rayyan vs. Al Hilal: This match will take place on September 17, 2024, at the Ahmed bin Ali Stadium, marking the first encounter between the two teams in this tournament.
  • Al Gharafa vs. Al Nassr: Scheduled for November 25, 2024, this match will see Al Gharafa host Cristiano Ronaldo’s team at home.
  • Al Sadd vs. Al Hilal: The two clubs will clash on December 2, 2024, at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium, continuing their historical rivalry.

Competition Format

The AFC Champions League Elite has a new format featuring two leagues of 12 teams in the West and East regions. Each club will play a total of eight matches—four at home and four away.
