Qatar Airways has denied reports claiming it has closed its offices in Pakistan. In a statement on January 8, 2025, the airline confirmed that operations are running “as usual.” Flights to and from Pakistan remain unaffected, and all offices are fully operational.
The clarification addresses rumors spread on social media and local news outlets, which suggested the closures were part of cost-cutting measures. Qatar Airways dismissed these claims as false and reiterated its commitment to maintaining full services in Pakistan.
The airline also highlighted its strong business performance, reporting a significant increase in annual net profit. Additionally, Qatar Airways announced plans to expand services, including the resumption of flights to Damascus, Syria.
